NOTE: IT APPEARS THAT THIS LINUX SOFTWARE IS DEPRECATED, BUT FROM THE SCREENSHOTS, IT LOOKS LIKE A PRETTY DECENT MIDI SEQUENCER WITH NOTATION VIEW.
Brahms is an open source midi sequencer with notation view. Not much info is provided on the webpage, so if anyone has anything to add, let me know :)
